Evangeline is an artist, mother and somatic experiencing guide. She seeks to support you to connect freely and comfortably to the moment you’re in, whatever life throws at you. She understands the body as the starting point for all the other kinds of magic.
She holds an MFA in Acting from CalArts, where she began her work in Somatic Experiencing with Stacy Dawson-Stearns. She also learned Tai Chi and Alexander Technique, and a host of other body-based modalities for physical and vocal training. She has a yoga practice that’s old enough to legally drink in the U.S. She graduated from the Body Mind Centering Course in the Endocrine System as well as the Intuitive Movement Guide’s Intensive Somatic Exploration. Her hands-on experience includes assisted stretching and somatic massage.
She has taught at post-graduate acting conservatories, summer camps, children’s birthday parties and at least one Druid retreat. She works with individuals and groups. She would love to help you unleash your body’s fullest potential for expression, discovery, transformation and enjoyment.
Who can benefit from this work?
Mothers seeking to re-connect with their bodies after pregnancy and birth
Artists and creative types looking for more freedom of expression
Regular humans who want support with nervous system healing, self expression and communication
What’s the commitment?
That depends! Starting in January 2027, I will be running monthly workshops at The Raven’s Wing in Portland, OR. If you are interested in working with me one on one, we can discuss a plan and frequency that will work for you. This work is extremely effective but it takes some time to change longstanding patterns.
Does this actually work?
Yes! Somatic work is incredibly effective for changing longstanding patterns of behavior and mindset. It happens at the crossroads of science and “woo woo” which is a sweet place to be. I have seen incredible changes as a result of this work.
